CENTRAL SITUATION CLOSE TO NATURE AND PEACE

The Vehkaniemi estate lies on a beautiful site on the lakeside of Vehkajärvi in 3 km distance from Pohjaslahti village in Vilppula. The route around Lake Vehkajärvi is 17 km and there are many nice places which you can visit on foot, by bycycle or by boat. From Pohjaslahti village to Tampere is 120 km travelling, by boat 70 km.

The countryside offers many possibilities for hiking . The marks of the ice period are still visible in its morene hills, in its sandbanks and in the long but narrow rocky lake shores.The views have always attracted many artists. Iit is nice to hike on the gently rolling hills and admire the beautiful views. In wintertime there is a 28 km long skiing track going on Lake Vehkajärvi.
